There has been much talk on various ways of cleansing the face - single vs double cleansing, and all this can be a bit confusing.
Here’s our take on cleansing, done simply.
Cleansers usually cause some degree of dryness, so approach face washing with care and opt for a method that cleans but doesn’t strip the skin of natural oils. This is especially so as our skin matures.
Wash your face twice a day – morning and night – with as gentle of a cleanser as you can get away with.
As a general rule, the gentlest approach is best – in this case, just one single wash of your face. If you wear waterproof makeup, use cleansing oil or micellar water to break down the makeup, sunscreen and sebum before following up with a gentle cleanser. Alternatively, wash the face twice with the Deep Pore Cleansing Foam.
